Michael Peter Kuzmak

1954-2020

Michael P. Kuzmak,66, passed away on December 4, 2020 peacefully after a brief illness at Morristown Medical Center in New Jersey. He was born in Wilkes-Barre,Pa and raised in Bucks County,Pa Michael worked as an IT professional for multiple companies in the US and abroad- most recently BE Aerospace,Terumo and Mersen. Throughout his career he held positions of Project Manager, Senior Business Analyst and Director of Information Technology. Michael graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BS degree in Accounting. He was well versed in many software languages which enabled him to advance in his field as an IT professional.

Michael is survived by his current wife, Cecel Kuzmak and his former wife Carol Kuzmak, son Michael E. Kuzmak of Amelia Island Florida, daughter Lorilie Hardee, husband Jeff and grandsons Eric and Adam of North Carolina. Also by his sister, Helenann Quinn, husband Andrew, nephew Drew of New Jersey and niece Aileen of California.

Michael enjoyed a variety of sports. He was an “armchair coach” for his beloved Flyers,Eagles and Notre Dame University football. He treasured his basketball plaque in appreciation for coaching youth basketball. Michael enjoyed fishing with family and friends, solving IT problems, travelling and his adventures with “the boat”. He was famous for Sunday “omelettes” and his “HOT” chilli recipes, which earned him a win in a chilli bake off with one of his former companies.Michael was also a hot sauce connoisseur and creator of his own lethal recipe.

Michael will be buried in Dallas Pa.along side his mother, father and grandparents in the summer of 2021. A graveside service will be held at that time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Michael’s memory, to St. Judes Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee.
