Obituary of Felice P Rizzo

Felice P. Rizzo, age 73 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Sunday, December 6, 2020 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ.

Born in Summit, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Felice(Pucillo) Rizzo.

She lived in Bernardsville before moving to Whitehouse Station 20 years ago.

Felice received a bachelor’s degree from St. John University and worked as a licensed Optician in the family business.

She was a member of the Readington Reformed Church and was active in supporting many of their service and community projects.

Felice had a creative nature and was a talented pastel artist.  She loved her family above all and will be tremendously missed.

She was predeceased by her partner, Carol Hopper in 2018.

She is survived by her two brothers, Vincent Rizzo of Bernardsville and Joseph V. Rizzo and his wife, Angela of Northampton, PA; her three stepsons, Vernon Hopper of Whitehouse Station, Warren Hopper of Ann Arbor, MI, and Darren Hopper of Quakertown, PA as well as by her two cherished grandchildren, Ethan and Aaron Hopper.  Felice is also survived by her niece, Renee and two nephews, Matthew and Vincent.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Holy Cross Mausoleum, 145 Mt. Airy Road, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920.

Friends may visit with the family prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM.

A few days before she died, Felice purchased and delivered sleeping bags for hurricane relief supplies collected by her church. The family urges that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Readington Reformed Church for the benefit of Central American Hurricane Relief.
