Betty Lou Phillips Farley, age 90, passed away at her home on Tuesday, December 22, 2020.
She was born on November 30, 1930 in her Grammy Phillips home on Water Street in Milford to William and Clara (McEntee) Phillips.
Betty Lou retired after 25 years from the Readinton Twp. Police Department where she was an Adminstrative Assistant to Chief Ken Stadnik. She was a 60 year member of the Frenchtown American Legion #113.
She was predeceased by her parents, William and Clara; brother, Dory; husband, Les; daughters, Doreen and Donna; step-daughter, Leslie and special grandson, Tyler.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Dawn and grandson, Kyle whom she resided with in Milford. She had 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 9 great, great grandchildren. Betty Lour will also be extremely missed by her dog, big guy, Axle.
A special thank you to her close friend Susan, special friend, Harriett, caregivers, Connie and Tiffany, granddaughter Lisa and grandson Kyle for helping take such good care of her. You were all angels in her eyes.
There will be no service. This is a quote from Betty Lou. “If you couldn’t come see me or call me while I was alive, I don’t want you coming and crying over me when I’m gone.”
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Association or the American Heart Association.
