Dear Barbara, Ken & Karen, Michael & Sandy, and Beth -
Bob will always be in our hearts. Our families had so many good times together from traveling to Maine to stay in remote cabins with our children and toddlers, to visiting National Parks, and celebrating birthdays and anniversaries.
We all admired Bob's determination to make the best of whatever life brought his way.
We know he's now pain free and able to roam about Heaven at will, stopping to chat with relatives and friends who have been waiting for him to join them. Until we see you again, Bob, we send love.
And for Barbara and family, much love to all of you.

A Letter To Bob Orlando ~
Dear Bob,
I know this has been a long, long journey, and I've only witnessed you taking on this challenge for the past 12-13 years. But I could see that you embraced it with grace, dignity and courage.
Early on in High Bridge I still can see you raking leaves; hiking through the woods with your pal "Rocky" or standing at the stove stirring some delicious pot of Italian food, not to mention you had a basement full of sports gear and lots of photos on the wall of your travel and ski adventures.
These more recent years, your day-to-day has instead been watching cooking and travel shows, golf and tennis matches or flipping through your Audubon magazines. That had to have been such a difficult transition. I remember you saying how much you missed your time outdoors in the woods. But I guess you knew what lay ahead and you were preparing for "battle".
Bob, I'm so glad to have known you and seen you through some of these times, as sad as they were. Thank God for Barbara's and your family's love and devotion, but it can not have been easy at all. Despite it, I never encountered you in a bad mood; not a cross word; no self-pity--when really you had all the right to be. Down to the very end, you still had that twinkle in your eyes and a warm smile and never forgot to ask how my Ed was doing. You were such a dear and gentle man. I can only imagine the incredible husband, Dad and Grandpa you must of been!
Bob, it's been my privilege to know you and Ed salutes you. You will so be missed but never forgotten.
Rest in Peace
Ermelindis & Ed
