Obituary of Anna Lorcheim

Anna Lorcheim, age 97 of Califon, NJ, died Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the Country Arch Care Center in Pittstown, NJ.

Born in Germany, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna Fuchs.

She grew up in Newark, lived in Irvington for 35 years raising her family, and then Edison before moving to Hunterdon County over 20 years ago.

Anna was not a formal member of any particular church, but she was a very spiritual, loving person.  Although she could never be described as a social butterfly, she did love to talk and spend time with her friends.  Her family was her pride and joy, and she was never happier than when she was able to spend time with them.  

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Walter in 2006.

She is survived by her two sons, Paul and his wife, Cheryl of Tewksbury Twp. and Bob and his wife, Marilyn of West Chester, PA.  She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Brian, Kevin, Emily and Kristine as well as two great grandchildren, Maxwell and Marley.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 12:30 PM  Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kearns Funeral Home in Whitehouse, NJ.
