To Joe and the Abel family: We are saddened by your loss. Phyllis was a part of our lives for many, many years and Godmother to Greg. Remembering fondly the many camping trips our families took together through the years. We send prayers, love and hugs to the entire family. Love, Fred and the Boelzner family

Mom was a very talented seamstress. She often made dresses for entire bridal parties. She also made some really elegant dresses for herself, and had a beautiful "Jackie O" vibe when she had occasion to dress up. Mom told me that when she was a teenager, she entered a sewing project in the 4H Fair, and was awarded an "honorable mention" ribbon. This made her mad enough to really apply herself to her sewing skills, and she became good enough at it to turn it into a source of income during her stay-at-home mom days.
