Obituary of Eric Robert DuMont

On Wednesday, March 31, 2021, Eric Robert DuMont passed away in Orlando, Florida.  Eric was born on July 28, 1986 in Flemington, NJ, and was raised in Clinton Township, NJ.  He graduated from North Hunterdon High School in 2005.  He was employed by Shoprite in Branchburg, McDonald's in Flemington and Washington and Erik Thoren Chimney Cleaning.

Eric loved - in order - the NY Mets, watching baseball, his grandparents, his immediate family, his extended family, his many friends he met in his walk of life, kids and pets (everyone's pets, not just his own).  He was known for his ability to make anyone laugh (especially himself), his good natured kindness and the way he purposefully annoyed his little sister.  

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Frederick and Lillian Herder and his uncle, Glen DuMont.   He is survived by his parents, Karen and Gerry DuMont; his sister, Laura Borruso, her husband, Michael and his nephew and niece; paternal grandparents, Joanne and Gerald DuMont; former wife, Mallory Dempsey DuMont; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  

A celebration of life will be held in June for family and invited friends.  Interment will be private.  Donations may be made in Eric's name to  freedomhousenj.org
