Obituary of Joanna P Pisano

Joanna P. Pisano, age 89, of Bridgewater, NJ, died Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ.

Born in Keene, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Sabatino and Adelena Dintino. Joanna spent her childhood in Lowell, MA.  She then lived in Carteret and Woodbridge, NJ before moving to Bridgewater 17 years ago.

She worked in the customer service department at Foremost Corrugated in Moonachie, NJ for 20 years before retiring in 1997.  

Joanna, or Momma P as she was affectionately known by many, was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Church in Bridgewater and a former member of the Red Hat Society.  She loved spending time down at the Jersey shore with her family.   

She was predeceased by her first husband, James Piazza and her second husband, Dominick Pisano.  She was also predeceased by her son, Joseph Piazza and her grandson, Tim Piazza.

Joanna is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James and Evelyn Piazza, her daughter-in-law, Cindi Piazza and her four grandchildren, Jimmy, Joey, Juliana, and Michael.

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, June 6, 2021 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home,  Whitehouse.

A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 AM at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Church.

A committal service will follow in the Mausoleum of St. Bernard Cemetery.
