Obituary of Barbara M Nugent

Barbara Wagner Nugent passed away on June 26, 2021.  

Barbara was a beloved wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, loved sister, aunt and best friend.

She was born May 29 in Elizabeth, NJ and was raised in New Providence, NJ.  Barbara spent many years raising her sons in Stirling, NJ before finally moving to Whitehouse Station, NJ with her husband.  Barbara loved gardening, going crabbing and spending time down at the Jersey Shore.  She had an incredible love for animals.  She always loved catching up with her best friend and sister, Linda.  Barbara's most favorite times were spent with family, most specifically her 3 beautiful grandchildren.  No matter what she did with her grandchildren she always made them feel special, she had a way of always making things fun and magical.  Barbara will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.  

Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Michael Nugent; sisters, Betty Ann of Florida, Linda Hamma of NJ; sons, Robert Measel of Florida, Eric Measel of NJ; grandchildren, CONNOR MEASEL, CHLOE SAGE MEASEL of Florida, ABBEY MEASEL of NJ; daughter-in-law-law, Patty Measel; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  

There will be a private ceremony for immediate family.  

Barbara's memory will live on through all her amazing family and friends.
