My Aunt Teresa exuded happiness every single time I saw her. Beaming at family parties— when she, Uncle Tom, and our Doyle cousins (Tommy, Terriann, Tricia, Timmy, and Tiffany) hosted a party, there Aunt Teresa would be: welcoming everyone in, making friends feel like family, her smiling face greeting you, gesturing with her hands, saying “come in come in!!” when you walked in the door.
Forever in our hearts,
Katie, Dan, and Julian

Wow Theresa death has brought back a flood of memories. The Costello gang was Saint Bernard Street. The fond memories are such a huge part of my existence as I am sure so many other alumni of Saint Bernard Street. It’s funny how your childhood is so impressed into the you - the you you are God what a great place to grow up. Jimmy was always in my parents house my brother Marty was his buddy. Denny was the great caddy always working. Teddy your dog took. Bite out of me resulting in my rush to mysercorfia hosp and Teddy’demise. So many so many memories-the Gaughans. The McHale, the Martins, the Kane’s the Shriners Charlie and his trains.Oh I could go on I am blessed to have had you guys and Saint Bernard Street as my street mom. I will remember Theresa and all the alumni of Saint Bernard Street! Gerry Flynn - gflynncootehill@verizon.net

Mrs Doyle was like my 2nd mom growing up. Countless carpool rides in Nelly Belle. Praying to her St. Theresa and other saints on her kitchen windowsill. Always a smile on her face. Raised a beautiful family. She will be missed. May she rest in eternal peace.

I can clearly remember as a little girl on St. Bernard Street in West Philadelphia running down the street after my big sister, Teresa, wondering where she was going and wanting to go where she was going. I can't recall if I caught up to her. But here we are some 60+ years later and I remember that moment so vividly. I also have so many other wonderful memories of her. Teresa's "strong maternal gift" not only shined on her younger siblings but to anyone who was lucky enough to be part of her life. I will hold very close to my heart those warm memories.
Love,
Your "little" sister,
Nancy

We are so very sorry to hear about Teresa. She was a lovely person inside and out. For 4 years she cared for our son Christopher, and to this day he still remembers Teresa fondly and all the fun he had with her and the Doyle family. We are keeping you all in our thoughts, and holding you in our hearts.
