Ursala and Family,
Just saw you and John at our BBHS 60th reunion and naturally I was shocked to learn of his passing.
We will be at Kearns on Sunday for my sister-in-law, Gale Pluhar, the day after John's military tribute.
She passed away on Thursday.
My husband and I send our sincerest condolences to you and your family.

Always patient, knowledgeable, and fun listening made me look forward to stopping by rather than dreading cycle repairs. Also having heard him say "getting fuel spark n good compression it'll run" caused me to wonder if we were still talking about the bike or maybe life. I am glad to have known him and know he will be missed. He certainly will by me.

We owe thousands of happy miles criss-crossing America to John. He kept my husband's bike and my 30+ year old GoldWing running safely. He always took the time to explain things ... a very patient fellow. He will be missed.

In the late 1980s and early 90s, we were lucky enough to compete with and learn from John and his son. Any time someone needed a part, labor, or knowledge, John was there to provide it. He did not hesitate to help anyone in any way he could. He was such an inspiration and mentor to young folks (or anyone, really) around him. He was a model of sportsmanship and the racing family was so lucky to have him. We are deeply sorry for your loss. -- Gary Bacon & family (808 Bacon Racing)

On behalf of the Quinlan family, our heartfelt condolences to Ursula, John and Sandy. We were so fortunate to have known John. He was a kind, gentle and soft-spoken man who always had the time to help someone with a problem, no matter how busy he might have been. He’ll surely be remembered and missed by many people, especially those who ride on two wheels! May he Rest In Peace.
