Obituary of Thomas De Girolamo

Thomas John De Girolamo of Bridgewater passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerville surrounded by his family.  He was born June 19, 1941, in Morristown, New Jersey, and resided in Bridgewater for over 50 years.

Tom worked for many years as a Regional Sales Manager at Vac-U-Max located in Belleville, NJ.  Tom served in the US Navy from 1959 until 1962.  During that time he was with the 6th Fleet aboard the USS Altair in the Mediterranean Sea.   He was an avid bowler and golfer, and he loved cooking for his family and friends.   Known for his easy-going manner, Tom never met a stranger.   He will be missed by many friends and family.

Predeceased by his parents, Pasquale and Roseann De Girolamo, he is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Louise (Snooks Gianetti) De Girolamo; his daughter, Michelle De Girolamo of Bridgewater; granddaughter, Hailey Roseann Stahl of Bridgewater; sister, Rose Wulff of Phillipsburg, NJ; and brother, Dominick De Girolamo (Gail) of Sterling, NJ. 

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Od Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ 08888. A committal service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at Somerset Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum in Basking Ridge.  All are asked to arrive at the Cemetery at 10:45
