Obituary of Carol Ann Caivano

Carol Ann (Vitelli) Caivano, 83, of Whitehouse Station, died Sunday February 13, 2022 at home.  She was born in Summit and lived in East Keansburg and then Milburn, before moving to Whitehouse Station.  

Carol was a graduate of Red Bank Catholic High School, class of 1956.  She was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society and a Eucharistic Minister.   She participated in many performances at the church as a member of the “Lourdes Players” along with many other activities. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Joseph Caivano, her 6 children, Joanna Musa (Bill) of PA, Sam Caivano of Milburn, Mark Caivano of Milburn, Susan Holden of Toms River,  Michael Caivano of Whitehouse Station and Dina Caivano of Lebanon, NJ, her sister, Phyllis Armenti of Stirling and her brother, Gerald of Cinnaminson and many nieces and nephews and special cousins. Carol was blessed with 12 grandchildren, Joseph Caivano, Michael Holden, William Musa, Mark Caivano, Samuel Holden, Peter Musa, John Caivano, Samuel Caivano, Nicholas Musa, Brianna Holden, Rocco Caivano, Daniel Caivano and 3 great grandchildren, Amelia Caivano, Connor Holden, Liam Holden. 

Visitation will be on  Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 390 County Road 523, Whitehouse Station.  The funeral mass will be offered on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 9:30 AM at the church. Interment will be at 2:00 PM at Saint Rose of Lima Cemetery, 50 Short Hills Ave., Short Hills.
