Obituary of Theresa Memel

Theresa (Terry) Memel, age 66 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ.

Born in Raritan Twp., New Jersey, she was the daughter of  Vincent and Deanna(Brown) Roche, III. Terry lived in Hillsborough for 16 years before moving to Whitehouse Station in 1990.  

She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked at Overlook Hospital in Summit and had worked for Morris Home Care as a Private Duty Nurse.

Terry was the family historian and photographer.  She loved to present people with photo albums or great shots she had taken.  She was the consummate host for family get togethers.  She also enjoyed cross stitch.  

Besides her parents, Terry is survived by her husband of 48 years, Carl, her brother, Vinny (Margaret) Roche, her sister, Diane (Scott) Krasovec, her nephew, Kevin Roche, and nieces, Lauren Soto and Bailey Krasovec.  She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Kathy (Tinker) Dorf, and her nephews, Walter and Danny and many cherished great nieces and nephews.  

Friends may call Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:30 AM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.  A service will immediately follow at 11:30 AM.

Burial will be in Cokesbury Cemetery, Lebanon.
