Obituary of Harlean Jean Kuzmiw

 Harlean Jean Kuzmiw, 62, of Hunterdon County, New Jersey, passed away while on vacation February 7, 2022 in Palm Coast, Florida. 

Harlean is survived by her husband of 45 years, Walter; her daughters, Nicole Daigle (Mark) and Dionna Kuzmiw (Adam); her four grandchildren Isabella, Aiden, Jaxson, and Lincoln; her brother, Bill Chaplin; and sister, Debra Streeter. 

Harlean was born in Saddle Brook, New Jersey to Steven and Bruyere Chaplin on December 16, 1959. She graduated from Bridgewater-Raritan West High School in 1977. For 15 years, she served as the Administrative Assistant for the Readington Township Police Department. 

She enjoyed cooking and baking and shared this love with so many. Additionally, Harlean loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. They shared countless times together filled with laughter and love. She was always up for a good adventure with her husband so they could continue to experience and share new and wonderful things. Her greatest love was most definitely her family who she cherished more than anything. She is best known for her willingness to always help others and she never failed putting others first. 

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, March 12, 2022, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.  A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM.
