Obituary of Christopher Charles Bartley
Christopher Charles Bartley, age 56 of Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, died Sunday May 29th, 2022 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, New Jersey. Born in Somerville, New Jersey he was the son of the late Charles and late Katherine (Murphy) Bartley. Chris grew up in Bedminster and had lived in Bridgewater before moving to Whitehouse Station in 2001.
He owned and operated C. Bartley Excavating for the past 37 years and was a former member of the Peapack Elks Club. Chris enjoyed boating, jet skiing, snow skiing, cooking, and grilling. His younger years revolved around a dirt track where he found his interest in racing at the Flemington Speedway.
Christopher is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Aurora (Studnicky) Bartley, his loving son Gage Bartley, his dear brother John and wife Heidi Bartley of Bedminster, his dear sisters Beverly and husband Bob Ricci of Manville, New Jersey and Charlene Bartley of Manville, New Jersey. He is also survived by his nephew, Sean Bartley, of Clinton, and beloved nieces Melissa McCauley of Bridgewater and Janelle Bartley and Jessica Bartley of Manville, New Jersey.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, June 2nd 2022 from 5:00 pm- 8:00 pm at the Kearns Funeral Home located at 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse Station, NJ, 08889. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 3rd 2022 at 10:00 am at the funeral home as well, followed by the burial at Rural Hill Cemetery with friends and family.
