Obituary of Marjorie Kanitra

Marjorie (Marj) Kanitra loving wife passed away peacefully at Hunterdon Medical Center from pancreatic cancer.  

Marj worked for AM Best Corp as a Data analyst, prior to that she worked for Telcordia and Bellcore as a project manager, AT&T as District Manager and Chief Financial Officer of Messaging Business Units and also Bell Labs. 

Marj was a ham radio operator and belonged to the Cherryville Amateur Radio club.  She enjoyed going out with her husband David on rides in the country in her spare time.  Marj and Dave ofent traveled to Europe, ate ice cream in Luxembourg, danced under the stars on her honeymoon in Vienna, ate delicious asparagus soup and apple strudel in Germany.  Cruised to Alaska, Canada and swam with dolphins in Bermuda.   

Marj is survived by her husband Dave, brother John Weston and his family in Cranford NJ, Sister Marion Franciose, niece Theresa Palmieri and her family in Spring Hill Florida.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Od Highway 28, Whitehouse.  A live stream of the visitation will be available to view on the Kearns Funeral Home Facebook page.
