I will miss seeing Richard at 5:30 mass. I have known Richard and Barbara for many years, first at Fiddler's Elbow and the last several years at OurLady of Lourdes. Richard and my husband were good golfing buddies and played in many state pro-amateur tournaments together. The most famous of the tournaments was at the old Play Boy Club in Vernon, N.J. Richard hit the longest drive by far. His drive went to the right, bounced a couple of times down the cart path and then back onto the fairway. That night at the dinner they were making the prize presentations when they announced that Richard had the longest drive of the day. It was measured at nearly 400 yards! This was just one of the many good times shared with Richard over the years. He will be missed.
