Obituary of Kevin Brett

Kevin Brett, age 64 of Middlesex, NJ, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.

Born in Jersey City, he was the son of the late Arthur and Barbara Brett.

He lived in Middlesex for the past 32 years where he was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Virgin Roman Catholic Church.

He worked as an accountant for his own firm, Kevin Brett Accounting Services in Hillsborough.

Kevin enjoyed antique shopping, cooking, and traveling.  He loved visiting Vienna, a family trip to Ireland and treasured the annual family reunion trip to Ridin-Hy Ranch in Upstate NY which his family has been doing for the past 50 years.  An avid skier, he considered himself extremely fortunate to have skied the Alps in Austria twice.  

He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Karen; his two daughters, Alyssa Farley and her husband, Ryan of Lebanon and Tara Delfino and her husband Dan of Mt. Arlington; his two sisters, Diane Solomon and her husband, Gary of Cranbury and Barbara Jean Mainero and her husband, Mike of Florham Park; his two brothers, Arthur and his wife, Kim of Palmerton, PA and Robert and his wife, Jan of Emmaus, PA and by his precious grandson, RJ Farley.  He will also be tremendously missed by his sister-in-law Colleen Fay, brothers-in-law Jim Fay and John (Gerri) Fay as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, November 14, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin Church in Middlesex.

Friends and relatives may visit with the family on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ 08888.
