Obituary of Jennie Sutton

Jennie C. Sutton peacefully departed this life on November 13, 2022, at the age of ninety-four. She was the daughter of George and Madeline Blasczyn of Bordentown, NJ. During her early years in the thirties and forties, Jennie grew up on their bustling farm with her seven siblings. She participated in many facets of the farmstead, from produce to market, and harvest to table. After high school, Jennie trained in tailoring, which became a lifelong talent. Later, she earned an administrative assistant certification. She was a record keeper at the Somerset County Complex. For many years, she served as a tour guide at the Duke Display Gardens in Somerset County, NJ. 

Jennie is predeceased by her children's father, George W. Kuczynski, and their beloved daughter, Anne (James). She is survived by her devoted family of four sons, George (Mary Jo), Edward (Kathryn), John (Toni), Joseph (Kari), and two daughters, Sophie (Oleg), and Jennie (Henry), and blessed with nineteen loving grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, son-in-law William, and many nieces and nephews.  

As a mother, she showed her love and generosity by giving her children joyful memories and instilling an appreciation for life, wholesome values, hard work, and the great films of her time. From her enduring memories of the farm, Jennie conveyed the knowledge and history from that bygone era to each generation, and enjoyed sharing the stories of life in the olden days with her grandchildren. Her favorite things were being with family and celebrating traditions together. She was the symbol of home wherever she went. 

Celebration of her life will be held privately.
