Obituary of Pauline D Miele

Pauline D. Miele (nee Nichilo), 93, of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Thursday, January 12, 2023 in Morristown Memorial Hospital. She was born on July 9, 1929, and was raised in Jersey City, NJ.

Pauline had an artistic flair that she used to express herself through her beautiful artwork, her home décor, and, most notably, her fashion sense.  She had an outfit for every occasion and created an occasion for every outfit.  She was an accomplished home cook who loved to create elaborate meals for her family.

She is survived by her children, John (Karen) Miele, Marybeth Colao and Paul Sinisi, Valentine (Lisa) Miele, Jr., and Paula (Danny) Fasano, and her sister-in-law, Carmela Stefano Nichilo.

She was the adored grandmother to seven grandchildren: Jenna (Adam) Honrath; Dr. Joseph Colao and Dr. Alana Persaud; Valentine, Mariella and Francesca Miele; and Julia and Andrew Fasano. 

She was the proud great-grandmother to four great-grandchildren: Gavin, Scarlett, Autumn and Nolan Honrath.

She was predeceased by her husband, Valentine J. Miele, Sr., her parents, Rocco and Elvira Nichilo (nee Fiorino), and her brothers, Thomas and Anthony Nichilo.

A private ceremony will be held with the family.
