Obituary of Mabel F. Gulick

Mabel Gulick, age 89 of Oldwick, NJ, died Friday, April 21, 2023 surrounded by her children at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late William and Grace (Milnor) Runyon.  

Mabel was a life-long bus driver, working for Barker Bus Company in Bridgewater, Mazzocchi Bus Company in Bernardsville, and finally the Branchburg Township School System.  She retired in 2005 after 30 years of service.  Throughout her retirement she enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and spending time with her family.  She will be greatly missed. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Dean L. Gulick Sr., her brother, Edwin Runyon, and her sister, Anna Kagan.

Mabel is survived by her two sons, Dean Gulick Jr. (Donna), and Kenneth Gulick both of Whitehouse, NJ; her three daughters, Laura Ayers (Richard) of Sebastian, FL, Mae Gulick of Alpha, NJ, and Debbie Gulick-Bylina (Robert) of Harmony, NJ, as well 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Burial will be private.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Kearns Funeral Home, Whitehouse.
