Obituary of Rosaria D Metallo

In loving memory of Rosaria Metallo, of Forks Township, PA who passed away peacefully in her sleep, Monday morning, July 10, 2023, at the age of 92.  

A devoted wife, beloved mother, loving grandmother, and great grandmother, Rosaria battled but eventually succumbed to an illness over recent months.  Born to Samuel and Antonina DeLuca of New Brunswick, NJ, Sally (as she was known), was a graduate of New Brunswick High School, and worked as a secretary until she became a full-time homemaker to Samuel Metallo for 63 years, and a devoted mother to her five children.  Rosaria spent most of her adult life in Flemington, NJ before she and Sam moved to Forks Township, PA eight years ago.

Rosaria was predeceased by Sam in 2017 and is survived by her five children: Samuel and Cathie Metallo of Earlysville, VA, Robert and Judi Metallo of Middlesex, NJ, Kathy and Vince Fedele of Forks Twp, PA, Joanne Metallo of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Joseph Metallo of Florida, as well as her 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Rosaria will forever be loved, will forever be missed, and will never be forgotten.  We love you. Rest In Peace.

A funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 10:30am at St. Magdalen's Church in Flemington.

Friends and relatives may visit with the family on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00pm at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ 08888.

Entombment will be in St. Magdalen's Cemetery.
