Joe was born in Girardville, PA on August 7th, 1934, to Anna Balchus and William Sadukas. After graduating from Mahoney City High, PA; Joe moved to Bound Brook NJ where he met the love of his life, Eleanor. They were united in marriage in May of 1952. Thereafter, they settled in Hunterdon County, Whitehouse Station, NJ where they raised their four children Mark, Karen, Joe Jr, and Holly.

Joe worked at Bethlehem Steel, Mack Truck, Walter Scott and Egan Machinery, Somerville, NJ.  Joe retired from Egan Machinery after 35 years as the night shift machine shop supervisor. Joe was an avid outdoorsman, with fishing and hunting in his blood. He could be found floating at Round Valley reservoir in his boat pulling in largemouth bass or on a mountain waiting for a big buck to come in sight! Joe also had a green thumb; his property was impeccable with flowers and large vegetable gardens. He took immense pride in his home and property. Joe had a love of birds and would build bird houses and feed them all year long. He could name each bird that landed on his feeders. Joe loved sports, he could be found watching his Yankees, the Giants, and his new love for the Kansas City Chiefs! Later, he developed a new hobby, metal detecting and found many treasures!

Joe was a family man above all. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His presence will be sadly missed by all! Joe loved his family, and his memory will live on in our hearts forever!
