Obituary of Dorothy M Kerod

Dorothy Margaret Kerod (nee Silletti) of Whitehouse Station, NJ, passed away on Saturday, October 7th at the home of her daughter and son-in-law. She was born in Jersey City, NJ on March 3, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Francesco and Antonia Silletti and was one of 11 children. She is predeceased by her husband, William J. Kerod and her son, Daniel Kerod.  

In her retirement, she enjoyed traveling around the world, cooking, and visiting with her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter Katherine and son-in-law David Moutner; her daughter-in-law Monica Kerod, her grandchildren Amanda Moutner, Sarah Marcucci and Sarah’s husband Mike Marcucci; her great-granddaughters Nora and Maisie Marcucci; her sister Margaret Maita; and large extended family.

Entombment will be on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM  at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ 08801.

Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ 08888.
