Obituary of Joseph DeBari

Joseph DeBari, age 21 of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.  

Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, he was the loving son of Giovanni and Angela DeBari.   Joe lived in Bridgewater all of his life, and enjoyed playing and watching all sports, and participating in fantasy sports leagues.  He was a big NY Mets fan and had fun going to lots of Giants and Jets football & NJ Devils hockey games.  He was also a big supporter of Seton Hall basketball and was an editor of the sports section of the Seton Hall newspaper.  What he enjoyed the most however was spending time in the summer going to the beach with family and friends. 

He was a graduate of Bridgewater-Raritan High School and was attending Seton Hall University, studying business. 

Besides his parents, Joe is survived by his brother, Christopher, and his maternal grandfather, Albert Demeter, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, December 20^th, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse Station, NJ.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 21^st at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.

Burial will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Basking Ridge, NJ.
