Obituary of Sarah B Seibert

Sarah B. Seibert, age 80 of Stanton, NJ, died Thursday, January 4, 2024 at her home.

Born in Somerville, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Ann Brokaw.

Sarah had lived in Branchburg before moving to Stanton 43 years ago.

She was a member of the South Branch Reformed Church and taught at the Church Nursey School for 15 years.

She was a participant of SWIM, Inc, and a member of the Readington Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.   She enjoyed cooking and baking.  For the last 36 years she would get together with family for “The Annual Cookie Bake” that she looked forward to.  Her grandchildren enjoyed her blueberry muffins, and her coleslaw was legendary.  Sarah found joy in making her own greeting cards and they were very heart-felt.  Her greatest joys were her family and her faith.

Sarah was predeceased by her son, Scott who died in 1987 and her brother, Tom Brokaw and sister, Betty Belton.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard with whom she was 3 weeks shy of celebrating 63 years of a beautiful marriage.  She is also survived by her loving daughters, Cindy and her husband, Fred and Dawn Peppe and her husband, Mark;  her precious grandchildren, Gary Poulson (Emily), Scott Poulson, Sarah Peppe, and Dean Peppe as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
