Obituary of Anna V. Stanton

Anna V. (Ginny) Stanton, age 86 of Woodbridge, NJ, died Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater Twp., NJ.

Born in Woodbridge, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Olivacz) White. She resided in Woodbridge most of her life, and vacationed at her summer home in York Beach, Maine.

Anna first worked for the Woodbridge Board of Health, and retired from Berson Engineering in Piscataway, NJ as the office manager.  Upon retirement, she took care of her mother for many years.

Anna was a former member of St. James Roman Catholic Church in Woodbridge.  She was an avid bowler and bingo player.  She loved flea markets and shopping.  She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City.  She loved animals and always had a dog or cat companion.

Anna was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Daniel Stanton, as well as her three brothers, Lewis, Michael and James White.

She is survived by her sister, Barbara Herman of Piscataway; her nieces, Debra Jaeger and Stacey Harrison (Ken), her nephews, James Jaeger, Michael White, and Daniel White (Jessica); her cousin Bill Ahimovic (Joy); and many other beloved family members.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St James Food Pantry in Woodbridge, NJ or the Woodbridge Animal Group in Sewaren, NJ.

Private funeral services have been entrusted to the Kearns Funeral Home, Whitehouse.
