Obituary of Michael A Dorio

Michael A Dorio, age 79 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at his home.

Born in Elizatheth, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Thomas and Irene Dorio.  Michael lived in Clark before moving to Whitehouse Station 42 years ago.

Michael had a remarkable career, starting as a forklift operator at AGF Incorporated in Elizabeth and rising to the position of President of the company after 30 years of dedication and excellence. He then continued to work as a Project Manager for Lux Industries in Morrisville, PA, for another 20 years, until his retirement in 2021. 

When not working, Michael enjoyed spending quality time with his family, which included hunting, fishing, and visiting National Parks out West.  Above all else, Michael was known as a family man, the kind of family man that set an example for everyone he came in contact with and was looked up to for guidance and advice.

Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Barbara (Gillis) Dorio and his two loving sons, Michael and his wife, Nicole and Jeffrey and his wife, Jenny.  He is also survived by his 3 precious grandchildren, Briana, Joseph, and Danny as well as his dear sister, Arlene Dudas.
