Obituary of Agnes D. Sheehan

Agnes D. Sheehan, age 101 of Basking Ridge, NJ, died Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at the Fellowship Village in Basking Ridge. Mrs. Sheehan was born in Basking Ridge, daughter of the late John and Mary Dupay. She had lived all of her life in Basking Ridge. She was a member of St. James Church, a charter member and past president of both the Altar Rosary Society and the St. Joachim & St. Anne Society. She was a volunteer for many years at the Veterans Administration at Lyons, NJ. She had been a colorist for the Wheelan Studios of N.Y.C. and had been a professional photographer. She was predeceased by her husband, J. Joseph Sheehan who died in 1969. She is survived by her 4 grandnephews, Peter Burch of Newport News, VA; Tom Burch of Danville, VA; James Burch of Charlottesville, VA; and Edward Smith of Floyd, VA; her 3 grandnieces, Susan Durham of Amarillo, TX; Amy McBennett of Raleigh, NC; and Rebecca Hill of Goldsboro, NC; A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at St. James Church in Basking Ridge. A visitation will be held in the Church starting at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Kearns Funeral Home in Whitehouse.
