Obituary of Edith M. Nesbitt

Edith M. Nesbitt, age 62 of Branchburg, NJ, died Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at her home. Born in Hannibal, MO, she was the daughter of the late Arch and Minnie Allison Jr. Edith grew up in Missouri and moved to New Jersey in 1978, living in Somerset before settling in Branchburg in 1980. She worked for 15 years at Ortho Diagnostic Systems in Raritan and was a Supervisor of Documentation, until her retirement in 1994. She was a communicant of St. Bernards Church in Bridgewater where she was active in the (RCIA) Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults program and served on the Churchs Stewardship Council. Edith is survived by her beloved husband, Russell, her loving daughter, Allison Marie Ulmer Nesbitt of Branchburg, her dear brother, Arch Allison III of Hannibal, MO; and her dear sisters, Virginia Brown of Columbia, MO; Charlotte Trice of Grayson, GA; Deborah Abdul-Ali of East Point, GA; Janice Harris of Columbia, MD; and Andrea Putman of Kansas City, MO. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, February 4, 2006 at 9:00 A.M. at St. Bernards Church, 500 US Hwy. 22 East, Bridgewater. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 7-9 P.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.
