Obituary of John W. Shaban

John W. Shaban, age 62 of Lebanon, NJ. died Friday, September 30, 2005 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late John W. and Vilolet (Garlepp) Shaban. He lived in Ridgefield, CT before moving to Lebanon 17 years ago. He had worked for AT&T in Morristown before starting his own telecommunications-consulting business. John was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale and was a C.C.D. Teacher. He had also coached Community Baseball in Clinton Twp. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie (Connor) Shaban and his 4 children, Joan Walsh of Bridgeport, CT; John T. Shaban of Redding, CT; and Victoria and Will Shaban both at home, and his 3 grandchildren, Jack, Henry and Daniel Shaban. Friends may call Tuesday, October 4, 2005 from 7-9 P.M. and Wednesday, October 5, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, October 6, 2005 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale. Burial will be in Newell Cemetery, Stanton.
