Obituary of Anna R. Hummer

Anna R. Hummer, age 90 of Whitehouse Station, NJ., died Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Twp., NJ. She was born in Irvington, NJ, on September 29, 1915, daughter of the late Philip and Caroline Helmstetter. Anna had lived in Whitehouse Station for the last 47 years. She was a homemaker. She was a very independent woman and despite her age was still able to look after her home in Whitehouse Station. Anna was predeceased by her husband, Clarence L. Hummer who died in 1979 and her two brothers, Robert and Richard and her sister, Lucille Hollister. She is survived by her two brothers, Norman and his wife, Kathleen Helmstetter of Athens, PA; and Arthur and his wife Jeanne Helmstetter of Seven Lakes, NC; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
