Obituary of Robert E. Dee

Robert E. Dee, age 80 formerly of Basking Ridge, died Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at his home in Warminster, PA. He was born in Upper Darby, PA, on April 21, 1926, He was the son of the late Robert H. and Gertrude Dee. Mr. Dee lived in Forty Fort, PA for a large part of his childhood. He was a resident of the Basking Ridge section of Bernards Township for 29 years and a parishioner of St. James Church. After moving out of Basking Ridge in 1992, he lived in Bedminster, NJ, Lakewood, NJ and St. Augustine, FL before recently moving to Warminster. He was a railroad engineer for 45 years, working for Erie Lackawanna, ConRail and NJ Transit, before retiring in 1988. He is survived by his wife, Anne R. (Nancy) Dee (formerly Nancy Kane of Wilkes-Barre, PA), a daughter, Colette Tarallo of Flanders, NJ; and three sons, Robert E. Dee Jr. of Skippack, PA; James J. Dee of Little Silver, NJ; and William G. Dee of Bel Air, MD, and 10 grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Church, Basking Ridge.
