Obituary of Philip Vozzo

Philip Vozzo, age 65 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Thursday, June 22, 2006 at his home. Born in Manhattan, he was the son of the late Rocco Vozzo and Mary (Spagnola) Vozzo who lives in Fairview. Phil had lived in Mountainside before moving to Whitehouse Station 37 years ago. He was a Manager with United Airlines for 40 years, before retiring in 2001. He was an avid outdoorsman and had a tremendous passion for hunting, traveling far and wide to persue his passion. Phil was a member of the National Rifle Association. Besides his mother, Mary, he is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Linda Vozzo his daughter, Melissa Pettinella and her husband, Albert of Union Vale, NY; his two sons, Christopher Vozzo of Asbury, NJ; and Jeffrey Vozzo and his wife Tina of Coplay, PA; and his brother, David Vozzo of Palisades Park, NJ; and his treasures, Alix, Nina, Brooke, Zachary and Gabriella. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, June 26, 2006 at 9:30 am at Our Lady Of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday evening from 7-9 P.M. and on Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28 Whitehouse, NJ. Burial will be in Rural Hill Cemetery in Whitehouse. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial donations to be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Research, c/o Dr. R.
