Obituary of Austin P. Hauser

Austin P. Hauser, age 84 of Clinton Township, NJ., died Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township. Born in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Edward A. and the late Elsie NMI (Kronenwett) Hauser. He had resided in South Plainfield before moving to Clinton Township in 1972. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a senior project engineer employed by Curtiss Wright Flight Systems of Fairfield for 10 years until his retirement in 1986. Mr. Hauser was instrumental in aircraft design and manufacturing. Austin is survived by a sister, Viola Kubik of Franklin, Mass., niece, Christine A. Dolan of Franklin, Mass., nephew, Stephen M. Kubik of Hillsborough; cousin, Rosemary Haluska of Iselin; and his caregiver, Patricia Yawger of Lebanon. Friends may call from 7:00 - 8:00pm Friday at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, with the funeral service at 8 p.m., in the funeral home.
