Annie the most versatile, charming, witty and lovely friends we have known. First met around 1979 or 80 when they moved to Hunterdon County, they have remained close friends over many of the ensuing years. During many, many vacations in St. John, Annie was half of the Paul and Annie show! We shared cooking, quiet days at the beach with all four of us reading or snorkeling while in the evenings with a cocktail and dinner there would be endless jokes, stories, puns, limericks and silly songs. With sparkle in her eye, one always knew a punch line was coming but with no idea where the story might end. These fun times were intermixed with in depth sharing of travels, mutual struggles and triumphs. Sitting in the hot tub with a final beverage of the night, watching the cruise ships roll out capped off many of our days. We have always enjoyed and looked forward to our times together and will greatly miss her.

When I close my eyes and think about Mamma Bear I see her smile, hear her laugh and know that there is a twinkle in her eyes. I will always remember crepes and monkey bread.

Ann always gave great advice. She once told me the following: She said all decent people on this Earth share some things in common. First they are life-long learners, and this life is a journey, not a destination. Second, she learned so much about people and the places she traveled to with Paul Sr. Travel, was a learning experience that brought them even closer together. Lastly, she said that all of God's children can make a difference. There's a mission tailor-made for each of us. All we need to do is look inside, you'll be surprised at what you can accomplish in this life. She lived these three pieces of advice to the fullest. May she always be missed and never be forgotten!

We are so blessed to have known Ann; she was a spiritual and marital role model for us. It's hard to believe that one person can dedicate themselves to so many beautiful causes. Ann fought a very brave fight against Cancer. Words cannot say how much she will be missed by all her family and friends. God Bless!

Ann and I spent many an afternon sitting at her window in her Washington Township kitchen sipping tea while watching our children run up and down the hill behind the house. We shared many stories. My friend of almost 50 years will always be in my heart and prayers.
