Obituary of Anna C. Carollo

Anna C. Carollo, age 93 of formerly of Bridgewater, NJ., died Friday, November 11, 2005 at Heath Village in Hackettstown, NJ. Born in Yonkers, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Kunz) Yoegel. She had lived in Flushing Queens before moving to Whiting then Bridgewater where she lived for 10 years. Anna was an assistant to the Chief of Staff of the Bethany Deaconess Hospital in Ridgewood, Queens for many years until her retirement in 1978. Anna was a extremely gifted artist. She and her friends who called themselves the Craft Circle would paint, do needlepoint and stencil to name just a few of their many talents. They were a dying breed. Anna also belonged to the Glendale Senior Citizens group. Anna was predeceased by her husband, N. Joseph Carollo who died in 1979. Anna is survived by her two daughters, Marie Robson and her husband Thomas of Bridgewater, NJ; and Jeanne Giordano of Tewksbury Twp., her four grandchildren, Joseph Giordano and his wife Kelly, Steven Giordano and his wife Brenda, Julie Memoli and her husband Jerry and Matthew Giordano and his wife Michelle and twelve great grandchildren. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at 9:30 am at Our Lady Of Lourdes Church, in Whitehouse Station. Burial will be in the Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, NY. Funeral arrangements have been entrused to the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway, Whitehouse. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to the Alzheimers Association, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834-1365.
