Obituary of Richard Alan Bohem

Richard Alan Bohem, age 59 of Whitehouse Station, NJ., died Monday, January 2, 2006 at home. Richard was born in Somerville, NJ, on July 29, 1946, son of the late Albert J. Bohem who died in 1974 and Mary (Mahoney) Bohem. He lived in Whitehouse Station for the last 40 years. Richard was inducted into the Somerville High School Hall of Fame as one of the best golfers ever to graduate Somerville High School. He won all County and all State Honors at Somerville High School. He won many awards in golf including a championship with his father at Shawney on the Delaware. He was co-owner of Bohems Golf Center in Whitehouse for the past 40 years. Richard was dedicated to his family and to his profession. He had given thousands of golf lession over the years and loved to work with new students of the game. During the winter months he loved to travel. Richard visited many Islands including the Hawaiian Islands and loved to go with friends to Las Vegas to see the shows. Besides his mother, Mary, he is survived by his brother, Albert J. Bohem III and his wife Alexandra of Whitehouse Station, and his sister, Ruth Ann Estenssoro and her husband, Gustavo of Atlanta Georgia; and six nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.
