Obituary of Robert Charles Chrouch

Robert Charles Chrouch, 78, of Union Township, entered into eternal rest Friday, February 24, 2006 in the comfort of his home. Mr. Chrouch was born in Lowell, Michigan, the son of the late Robert G.. and Sarah (Sackner) Chrouch. He lived in Whitehouse Station many years before moving to Union Twp. a little over a year ago. He was a WWII veteran of the US Army. Mr. Chrouch was an Optical Engineer, retiring in 2001 from R&D Packaging, Lebanon. He was a former Eucharistic minister for many years at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, Whitehouse Station; a member of Immaculate Conception RC Church, Clinton and a 26-year member of Alcoholics Anonymous. He was a wood craftsman, ham radio operator and enjoyed gardening. He was survived by his wife Margaret Margie (nee Maxwell) Arthurs Chrouch; his sons: Michael Edward Aloyisius Arthurs of Lebanon and Robert Stephen Chrouch of Nazareth; his daughters: Meg Strathern and her husband Bill of Great Meadows and Mary Beth Arthurs Paolini and her husband, John M. Jr of Whitehouse Station; his brother, Roy and grandchildren: Michael III, Robert, Katelynn, Steven, Megan, Billy, Samantha, John and Matthew. He was preceded in death by his sisters: Sarah Lee and Nora. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 1st at 11:15a.m. at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Clinton with interment following at St Bernards Cemetery, Bridgewater.
