Obituary of Rose Faso

Rose Faso, age 100 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Monday, February 6, 2006 at the Country Arch Care Center in Pittstown, NJ. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Grace (Ficarro) Buttacavoli. Rose had lived in Uniondale, NY for 24 years before moving to Annandale, NJ in 1997. In 2000 she moved to Whitehouse Station where she lived prior to entering the Care Center. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Annandale and a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. Rose was a beautiful woman who devoted her life to her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles S. Faso who died in 1953 and her daughter, Grace Jakubowski who died last year. Rose is survived by her daughter, Rosa M. Bambara of Whitehouse Station; her 3 grandchildren, Therese Williams, Eugene Bambara and Charles Bambara and 6 great grandchildren. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, February 9, 2006 at 9:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 7-9 P.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery in Queens.
