Obituary of Edna M Chervenyak

Edna M. Chervenyak, age 84, died Thursday, August 31, 2006 at Country Arch Nursing Home in Union Twp., NJ. Born in Hillside, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Bumen. Edna moved to Whitehouse Station in 1950 and lived there for over 45 years before moving to Union Twp.. She was an assembler, employed by Quality Packaging of Frenchtown,NJ until her retirement in 1991. Edna was predeceased by her husband, Stephen A. Chervenyak who died in 1997 and her son, Stephen A. Chervenyak Jr. who died in 1988. Edna is survived by her son, Michael Chervenyak of Fanwood, three daughters, Mary Cantwell of Mechanicsville, MD, Catherine Phillips of Washington and Theresa Allen of Titusville, three sisters, Gladys Bumen, Eleanor Edihoffer and Edith Foster and 15 Grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at 11:30 am. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ. with burial immediately following at the Rural Hill Cemetery in Whitehouse. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, September 04, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. at the funeral home.
