Obituary of Walter G. Lorcheim

Walter G. Lorcheim, age 78 of Clinton, NJ, died Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at the Valley View Health Care Center in Frenchtown, NJ. Walter was born in Elizabeth, NJ, son of the late Theodore and Mildred Lorcheim. He lived in Irvington for 35 years, and Edison for 10 years before moving to Clinton 6 years ago. Walter served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked for the Picatinny Arsenal for 19 years as a Petroleum Inspector before retiring in 1996. Walter is survived by his wife of 52 years, Anna Lorcheim, his two sons, Paul and his wife, Cheryl of Lebanon, and Bob and his wife, Marilyn of Bridgewater; his sister, Carol Gould of Toms River, and his four grandchildren. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, September 16, 2006 from 2-4 P.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. A committal service will be held on Monday, September 18, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
