Obituary of Joseph A. Kneser

Joseph A. Kneser, age 94 of Bernardsville, NJ, died Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at the Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, ME. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he was the son of the late William and Petronella Kneser. Joseph was a Railroad Engineer for Jersey Central Railroad in Elizabeth Port, NJ until his retirement in 1977. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Bernardsville. Joseph was predeceased by his wife, Josephine Kneser who died in 1999 and his daughter, Joanne Petry. He is survived by his three sons, Joseph and his wife Elizabeth of Oldwick, NJ; Paul and his wife Deen of Levant, ME; and William and his wife Mary of Far Hills, NJ. Joseph is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Bernardsville Friends may visit with the family on Friday, December 1, 2006 from 7-9 P.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway, Whitehouse, NJ.
