Obituary of Violet Frances Cwik Samila
Violet Cwik Samila, age 88 of Burlington, NC, died Friday, November 24, 2006 at the Rehabilitation Health Care Center of Alamance in Graham, NC.
Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Gasiour) Cwik. Violet had lived in Whitehouse Station and Three Bridges before moving to North Carolina 25 years ago.
Violet and her husband, John owned and operated the Miracle Freeze in Clinton, NJ. before selling the business and moving to North Carolina.
She was a former communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station and a former member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Post 284.
Besides her husband, John with whom she was married 57 years, Violet is survived by her two sons, Leonard J. of Burlington, NC and Frank E. of Aurora, CO; her daughter, Carol S. Naegele of Kingsport, TN; her brother, Thaddeus Cwik of Townville, SC and her five grandchildren.
A Chapel service will be held on Thursday November 30, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Bernards Mausoleum in Bridgewater.
