Obituary of Rose P Mantone

Rose P Mantone, age 94 of Basking Ridge, NJ., died Sunday, December 10, 2006 at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, NJ. Rose was the daughter of the late Andrew and Susan Pelechacz. Born and raised in Hazleton, PA, she moved to Basking Ridge nine years ago. Rose resided at Ridge Oak where she was actively involved in the prayer group and sang in the choir. Rose and her late husband Phillip owned and operated a small corner restaurant in Hazleton for many years until they retired in the early 1980's. Rose was predeceased by her husband, Phillip who died in 1985 and her six brothers and sisters She is survived by her son Daniel Montone and his wife Kathy, of Basking Ridge and her grandson, Christian. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at 11:00 am at St. James Church in Basking Ridge. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the mass, from 10:00 to 11:00 am, on Wednesday, December 13, 2006. Burial will be private on Thursday December 14, 2006 in Hazleton, PA.
