Obituary of Rose Loyo

Rose Loyo, age 73 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Saturday, December 23, 2006 at home. Born in Summit, NJ, on April 9, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Teresa Tutela. Rose had lived in Maplewood prior to moving to Whitehouse Station in 1983. She had been an Administrative Assistant, for PSE&G in Newark, NJ for 35 years, until her retirement in 1988. Besides her parents, Rose was predeceased by her brother, Lawrence Tutela. She is survived by her beloved husband, Carlos Loyo, her stepson, Marcelo Loyo and his fiance, Jennifer of Warwick, RI; her sister-in-law, Barbara Tutela of Flemington, NJ; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at 9:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.
