Obituary of William Schweitzer

William Schweitzer, age 89 of Whiting, NJ, died Monday, January 22, 2007 at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ. William was born in Newark, NJ, son of the late William and Emma Schweitzer. He was a Chemical Engineer with Lawter Chemicals in South Kearney before retiring in 1978. William loved to read in his pursuit of knowledge. His favorite pastime was playing golf. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 59 years, Mildred, who died in 2001. William is survived by his daughter, Nancy O'Malley and her husband, Jim of Whitehouse Station, NJ. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, January 26, 2007 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway, Whitehouse. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union.
