Obituary of Robert J. Long

Robert J. Long, age 71 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died suddenly on Thursday, January 25, 2007 in Somerville, NJ. Robert was born in North Plainfield, NJ. He was the son of the late Robert and Agnes Long. He had lived in Bound Brook prior to moving to Whitehouse Station 44 years ago. Bob served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was presently working for Nitta Casings in Somerville and had been with the company for the last 42 years. The most important thing in Bob's life was his family. He is survived by his wife, Marian Long, his sons, Robert Long of Whitehouse Station, and Michael Gleason of Pittstown, his daughter, Karen Capista of Narragansatt, RI; his brother, Richard and sister, Diane. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Michael and Nicole Lebo, Scott Capista and Ashley, Kevin and Parker Gleason. Private funeral services have been entrusted to the Kearns Funeral Home of Whitehouse.
