I know that Davis bay will never be the same. There will be a lot less laughter among his many, many friends. His kindness and thoughtfulness will be missed.
The love and memories will last forever.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Kiever family. We remember our back yard neighbors in Raritan, watching both boys grow up, cutting through our yard to get home. Kyle left too soon. Please keep his memory alive in your hearts.

Kyle was a life saver all the time. Whenever you needed someone on your side, Kyle was always there.I'll never forget the big hug I got when I needed him most, when my sister died. He was so understanding and everyday he saw me he asked how I was doing and gave me that very comforting hug. I will always remember all the Canada stories. Sometimes when I was in a real hurry I would be stopped by Kyle, and think" oh no! this is gonna be a long story", but I always made time for him. He was a good man. He always talked very highly of Sue and Samantha. He also new my brother Johnny. He made a lasting impression on him. I will miss Kyle very much. I still have the plant he gave me for my sisters funeral. That plant will be in memory of him too.
My God bless you Kyle, and bring peace to your family.

How Do You Measure a Man?
By Dr. Maggie Buley
Do you measure a man by how tall he stands?
If you do, then Kyle Kiever passed the test because he was a tall and husky man.
Do you measure a man by the knowledge he possess?
If you do, then Kyle Kiever passed the test because he knew much, from how to cook like the pros to where to buy the best sausage.
Do you measure a man by the number of words he utters in his lifetime?
If you do, then Kyle Kiever passed the test because he never went by my office without stopping to say hello or telling me about his latest trip to Canada.
Do you measure a man by his charity and good works?
If you do, then Kyle Kiever passed the test because he gave unconditionally whether it was a pile of wood, a recipe for ribs or his time building floats.
Do you measure a man by his dedication to his wife?
If you do, then Kyle Kiever passed the test because he told me so many times how Sue was the love of his life and his guiding light.
Do you measure a man by the love he has for his child?
If you do, then Kyle Kiever passed the test because he adored Sam and her happiness was always his number one concern.
I, myself, measure a man by his heart’s capacity for love and his soul’s desire for growth. Kyle Kiever was a man in love, in love with his family and with life. And just as importantly, I will remember him as a man who was always striving to understand himself and the world in which he lived.
How ever you measure a man, Kyle Kiever passed the test.
Remember what I told you, Kyle, my last words to you, “The Kievers will always be a part of the Stellar Academy Family”. Sue and Sam will remain forever in our hearts and prayers.
